Does OBDedge support my vehicle?
OBDedge car scanner works with all car brands with the CAN-bus protocol (manufactured mainly from 2008). This OBD2 reader is officially licensed by Volkswagen Group (VAG), BMW Group, Toyota Group, and Ford Group (US-manufactured models only) – thus offering broader functionality for these models.

Do I need a subscription?
The PRO and ULTIMATE plans are designed for users who want to go beyond diagnostics and get more control over their vehicles.
PRO includes manual coding features for Volkswagen Group vehicles, while ULTIMATE offers nearly unlimited access to One-Click Apps for all officially licensed brands – VAG, BMW, Toyota, and Ford (US models only) Groups. It also lets you build your own One-Click Apps – just keep in mind programming expertise is required.
Both plans include priority customer support and early access to newly developed features as they roll out.
What are OBDedge Apps and how to use them?
OBDedge Apps are our ready-made coding options designed to adjust, turn on, or disable car safety, comfort, and driving features with just a single click. No manual coding required.
You can activate OBDedge Apps with Cedits – our in-app currency. If you have the ULTIMATE plan – you can access nearly unlimited OBDedge Apps for free, so no Credits are required.
Which features will work in my country?
OBDedge is being developed together with car manufacturers and their technical support to achieve the best performance. Thus, we have to comply with different diagnostics licensing policies of different car manufacturers.
While some brands offer worldwide coverage with a single entity (like Volkswagen Group), others require to sign with individual country representatives, which takes time to achieve. As a result, available features might depend on your country.
Can I use OBDedge with multiple vehicles?
Yes! Currently, there’s no limit on how many vehicles you can connect to your OBDedge account and use with your device.
